the key to breaking out of the drama triangle
Yesterday, I introduced you to Karpman’s drama triangle and how it keeps us stuck.
Today, I want to keep it short and share the only thing that matters: how to get out of it.
I remember being frustrated with my inability to get leaner or stronger back in 2009.
I was jumping from program to program looking for the “savior” program.
And I was making everything the persecutor. My genetics. I hadn’t started early enough. If I did the wrong program, I’d waste more time. Etc.
But there was a moment one day while I was sitting on the bench in Jason Khalipa’s gym in Santa Clara.
I felt tired of blaming things for my lack of progress.
I felt tired of constantly looking for a new program and not sticking to one thing.
In that moment, I took personal responsibility.
I was not going to have emotional drama about anything. I decided to do one program for 5 years. Just the basics.
And I would not expect immediate results.
There was a huge relief.
And best of all…I did get results. And they happened far sooner than the 5 years.
But the thing that happens when you start getting results and building momentum is that you want to continue doing the thing.
Take personal responsibility.
Decide to do one thing for a long time.

I’ve been a lot more active on my Youtube channel, so please check it out and like, comment and subscribe. My goal is to grow to 50,000 subscribers this year.
And i’ll need your help in getting the initial momentum off the ground.
Here’s an interview I did with super successful blogger, Millennial Money Man, Bobby Hoyt who is one of my favorite clients of all time. Let me know what your takeaways from this video are.
